BBC reports Air France-KLM bid for International Train Service

The BBC have reported news that Air France-KLM may be launching a bid to start a new high speed international train service from London to Paris, stopping at Ashford.

Rumours have been going around Kent for the last few weeks, but it seems to now be taking shape as a real possibility.

This suggests real hope for the future of Ashford as an international station, and is bound to increase the pressure on Eurostar to retain services at Ashford.
